Johnny Rutledge is a Texas born artist and visual storyteller. 

He started making alternative movie posters for the Texas Theater in 2015. He is a classically trained visual artist with a film background. He’s a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, was a student at the prestigious San Francisco Art Institute and graduated from UTA with a Film Degree. He built a career in video marketing and has directed commercials for Cadillac. He loves to see the joy on people’s faces when they find his posters and a new way to connect to their favorite film. His one-of-a-kind illustrations and art is done in a variety of mediums. He is passionate about social justice and the arts.
